I heard it from a sourse at Rane.. cause I was tossed between the 57 and the PMC pro 08..
The 08 was half the cost of the 57 at the time and I already owed SL1.. Now I see that I would have been better off buying the 57 and selling my SL1.. Cause now my PMC 08 sucks, just like everyone elses 08.. They are absolutly the Best and worst mixer on the market. Its a great concept and system, but Little or no Tech support, and HORRIBLE QC problems, and the QC problem isnt just the 08 but almost all Vestax products just look at their forum.
Anyway the other reason I didnt buy the 57 is I said I wanted a 3 or 4 channel mixer, like the Empath but all Serato, and the guy said well just hold off on the 57 for now and wait a year and get the new 4 channel, like a pioneer mixer, but with the RANE brand and quality, and SSL!!! <--- My Favorite piece of info.
He didnt comment on a price range, but I'm guessing if the 2 channel is 1500, then the 4 channel well probably be at least 2 grand if not more.
